Default INSIGNIA-BLE FOW for WARRIOR

I'm trying to find the materials needed to craft it, but I cant find anything about it in wiki or amp or even here. It's the new set added, and allows you to add inscriptions.

Does anyone know the materials needed or has a link where I can find the materials?

http://www.guildwiki.org

You might also want to do a search on google about how to turn off your cap lock... you seem to have had a slight problem with it when giving your post a subject.

Sorry about the cap lock thing, and I did a search on wiki...no materials were given, it just says there's blank Obsidian Armor set and you can put inscriptions on it. I looked at the armor list, and it wasn't included...

Don't know how you searched for it. Took me one search.

http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Obsidian_Armor
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Warrior_Obsidian_Armor

As far as I know all FoW (Obsidian) Armor uses Insignias now.

Correction...

The Eternal Forgemaster can craft armor with any Core, Prophecies or Factions bonus, which will not accept Insignia, as well as "blank" Obsidian Armor which will accept Insignia.

Kong, I think you're missing the point. He's asking about the specific materials required to make insignia-ready armor. The list you linked to does not tell what is needed for that particular flavor.

OP: You may need to just make a run yourself to find out, since wiki hasn't been updated with the new fow insignia armor requirements.

No I'm not missing the point. He wanted to know what materials, I gave him the basic information needed.

Helm
15 Ectoplasm
15 Shards
50 Iron
5 Steel or Deldrimor Steel?

Cuirass/Hauberk
45 Ectoplasm
45 Shards
150 Iron
15 Steel or Deldrimor Steel?

Leggings
30 Ectoplasm
30 Shards
100 Iron
10 Steel or Deldrimor Steel?

Gauntlets
15 Ectoplasm
15 Shards
50 Iron
5 Steel or Deldrimor Steel?

Boots
15 Ectoplasm
15 Shards
50 Iron
5 Steel or Deldrimor Steel?

Theres what you need for your Warrior Obsidian Armor. Aside from Ectoplasm, Obsidian Shards, and Iron, you will require one other Rare Crafting Material. I don't know what it is, and it doesn't say on GuildWiki. I have to assume it's either Steel or Deldrimor Steel, and since there already is an armor that requires Deldrimor Steel down there, I assume it's Steel.

My point is, that you know how much Ectoplasm and Obsidian shards you need, the iron and the other Rare Crafting Material are alot cheaper and easier to get then the Ecto and Obsidian Shards.... they are not to much to worry about. I suggest you assume one of the above 2 times of steel I mentioned and go try to craft your armor. Just make sure to get the blank Obsidian so you can use the insignias on it.

@twizzler - If you want the best chances of having the necessary stuff on your first visit, you should at least bring the items listed for "General Materials" on wiki. (Bringing stacks of all materials listed for all options seems overkill to me.) The suggestion to just go down there and check first is a good one, too.

@Kong - I'd guess the confusion comes from the wiki pages not listing insignable armors on the table like the knight's, glad's, etc. I've considered the materials for new insignable obsidian armor, too, and it's not plainly obvious yet. That's understandable, as the whole insignia system is pretty new and not the way people were used to thinking about armor in this game.

GL twizzler! Here's hoping you get some new duds and enjoy them! Any details or lessons you learn about getting crafting insignable armor for the old core classes, please do share them!

Cheers, Luny

I still don't know why anyone wants Warrior FoW armor. It's so remarkably ugly that it's a wonder anyone has ever looked at it and said "Yeah that looks good, implement it in the next patch."

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Or some people want to play it safe and buy the most expensive armor with ebay-money, even though they dont see its just pixels.

Well thanks for the reply and help everyone, I was lucky enough to get it in the first run by just bringing both steel and d steel. Found out it was d steel that was needed. It seems that every insigniable fow armor needs it as a secondary material.
